Virgin Voyages

Welcome to the world of Virgin Voyages, one of the newest and most exciting cruise brands in the market today! This cruise line currently operate a small fleet of ships, offering vacations on any of their 3 (soon to be 4) cruise ships, which they refer to as ‘Lady Ships’: Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, Resilient Lady and Brilliant Lady (this last one launches in 2025). Virgin Voyages launched into the market at the end of 2021 with a strong message that would send some shock-waves through the industry - they are a cruise line who pride themselves on doing things ‘differently’ to their competition. From my experience, ‘different’ does work well in some cases, but it doesn’t in others - through my posts here, and also over on my YouTube channel, hopefully I can share everything I know from my time onboard various Virgin ships to help you plan your future cruise, or decide if this is a product you’d like to try!

The Virgin Voyages product is a pretty unique one, and comes away from the notion of cruise ships having a large number of ‘additional charges’ once onboard. Included in your cruise fare with Virgin, you can expect Wi-Fi, Speciality Dining, soft drinks and water, gratuities, group fitness classes, and free date changes (up to 45 days before you sail), along with a few other things. Another key difference between Virgin and their competition is that you’re not able to purchase a drinks package on these ships. Instead, you can pre-purchase what Virgin refer to as ‘Bar Tab’ - I won’t go into detail on this now - head to my posts below to learn more!

Over the last few years, I’ve been fortunate enough to cruise on the entire Virgin fleet, and have visited ports across Europe and the Caribbean with them. As a result, I’m hoping that I can truly showcase what this cruise line is able to offer interested cruisers.
